This is a series designed to circumvent Italian traffic laws that mandated the registration of vehicles with an engine capacity greater than 50 cc. This example was one of the first to be produced in the 50L version (V5A1T), that is, being a more luxurious variant of the 50 N version, but still having the older emblem and lacking the aluminum edge protection for the leg guard.

Italian regulations defined the 50 as a moped, so that you didn’t need a driver’s license to drive it, only to turn 14. This translated into huge popularity of this stylish model. Today, such a scooter can be a collector’s item, but it can also be used for stylish travel around town during the summer season.
